Business Unit Planning & Implementation

Business Unit Planning
& Implementation

Rolling out business plans and clearly communicating strategy is what separates good companies from great companies. Strategy must be understood and owned by everyone, not just the senior leaders.

We will help you communicate your company strategy throughout the organizations via a business plan with aligned tactics that will achieve your goals.

Contact us to learn how we can help you effectively roll out a strategy that all employees understand, adopted and execute.

Succession Planning

Succession Planning

Succession planning is a business reality. Very few companies do it, and even fewer do it well.

A properly developed succession plan is one of the most important insurance policies you can carry. Nothing is certain in business and change is a constant. Whether through illness, terminations, departures or retirements, a properly crafted succession plan is critical for business continuity and stability.

Let us help you do this right.

Business Development Training & Coaching

Winning business is a part of business. Without customers and clients to provide product or services to you won’t be around for long.

Often overlooked and underestimated in today’s world is the ability to turn relationships into engagements. People don’t buy from strangers, nor do they buy from people they don’t trust. While this sounds logical not everyone knows how to successfully establish a contact, build a relationship and manage it in a way that a business engagement can result.

We've helped all sorts of professionals (lawyers, accountants, bankers, architects, engineers and other consultants) build and expand their practices and businesses through formal Business Development Training Workshops and Coaching programs.

If you need help we should talk. Click here to see our Canada Alberta Job Grant (CAJG) eligible Certificate Workshops.

Company culture - every company has one, but is it the culture you want to be known for? Does it support your business? Does it build your brand? Does it create value for you?

Company culture is at the heart of competitive advantage, because it determines how things are done and how people behave and it is the hardest thing for competitors to copy. High-performance corporate cultures instill a passion so people make the right decisions and do the right thing, wherever they are in the business.

We have spent our careers creating and developing some of Canada's best known and most recognized corporate cultures and most desired employers. We specialize in sharing our skills and knowledge to help our clients assess, define and create a corporate culture that can become a true business asset - a competitive advantage that delivers bottom-line value to your organization.

We're passionate about creating contagious corporate cultures and would love the chance to learn about yours.

Let's figure out where you are right now. By using some simple tools, methodologies, and our experience, we will lead you through an assessment and inventory of your current culture status.

Once you know where you are, it's easier to figure out where you want to go.

Maybe it's been a while, but somewhere along the line you were asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Same rules apply for building a culture - if you don't know what you want to be, it can be hard to become it.

We have facilitated numerous sessions on culture definition and can help you clarify your vision and articulate your desired culture. Let's talk about how we can help your organization transform its culture.

Strong corporate cultures don't happen by accident, they take hard work and commitment. Once we've helped you plan it, we can help you build it.

As executive and leadership advisors, we got your back. We're here to help you and can oversee culture strategy implementation as you work to achieve your desired culture. We love success stories and look forward to helping you write yours.

Speaking & Facilitation

Need a speaker? We love talking shop!

We specialize in presenting on topics relating to planning, leadership & business development and culture. We speak at large and small corporate events, can deliver inspiring key note addresses, or engage smaller groups or teams with tailored presentations. There are many angles to planning, development and culture, so we customize each speaking opportunity to deliver a message that aligns with your event goals.

If your executive team, business leaders, association, or Board of Directors would benefit from hearing about these topics, drop us a line. We would love to speak to you and design a presentation that meets your needs.

We're at our best when we're working with others. With our diverse tool kits we regularly work with clients to facilitate Board sessions, brainstorming meetings, and focus groups.

We regularly facilitate:

  • Executive team planning sessions and off-sites
  • Association meetings and strategy workshops
  • Board of Director planning and strategy meetings
  • Team motivation and effectiveness brainstorming sessions
  • Government and committee planning meetings

It's more than just taking notes! Let us show you how we get your people involved and together bring value to your company.

For us it’s all about helping others. From time to time we are asked to share our thoughts by contributing to various magazines and/or web-sites. We post those articles here so that they can live forever! And it’s our way of giving you a little bit of us whenever you need a quick hit of knowledge. Enjoy!
